WFMC State Festival Competition
Federation State will be held on SUNDAY, April 19th, 2026 at MYAC, the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center located at 325 W. Walnut Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Purpose
The purpose of this competition is to foster excellent musicianship, to provide a positive competitive experience, and in the case of more advanced students, to provide scholarship opportunities.
Events
Piano Solo, Duet, Concerto, Quartet, and Hymn Playing, String Solo, Duet, and Concerto, Vocal Solo Art Song, Musical Theatre, and Duets, Woodwind Solo and Concerto, and Classical and Pick Guitar Solo
Eligibility
Students ages 18 and under who have earned a rating of Superior at their district festivals will be eligible to participate in the State Festival
Competition, where they will perform only their required festival piece from their district audition.
